Gede
Foundation can reach out to more people throughout Nigeria with your
help. Our programs and services have reached out to a growing number
of clientele not only in Abuja, but to other states as well. You can
choose to support any of the following programs by your cash or in-kind
donations.
OVC Scholarship
Our Regular Scholarship Program currently involves full scholarship
support for a total of nineteen (19) OVCs. We will need cash or in-kind
donations for the following:
Books, uniforms, school supplies
Transportation allowance
It is important to note that 100% of the 8 surviving parents/guardians
are female and 80% are infected with HIV; 20% are on ARV while 60%
cannot commence therapy due to financial constraints.
Medical & Clinical Services
We will appreciate your support for us to sustain our services and
make access to health care and services available to the people. Your
support which may be in cash or in-kind will allow us to provide for
the following:
Antiretroviral drugs, multivitamins and diagnostic kits
Laboratory supplies
Mobile Laboratory
Generator
Skills Acquisition Program
Beneficiaries of the said program will need the following:
Tools and Equipment
Computers
Skills Training
Donations in the form of cash or in-kind will be greatly appreciated.We
would like to make provisions that will allow us to constantly increase
the number of OVC Scholarship and Skills Acquisition Program beneficiaries.
Our goal is to remove youths out of the streets and turn them to productive
citizens who can make good contributions for the development of the
nation.
Microfinance
We will appreciate contributions in the form of:
Financial Services
Technical Training
Your donation will help us sustain a program which will empower the
skilled but financially challenged people of the nation. Those who
rely on their skills for a living will be afforded the opportunity
to engage in a small scale enterprise from where they can earn their
living.
Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT)
Your assistance/donations in the form of:
Antiretroviral drugs and/or multivitamins
Computers for health institutions
Audio-visual equipment
Training for healthcare staff of PMTCT clinics

Information and Educational Campaign (IEC) materials
